Classic Coastal Rug

Nothing says coastal to me more than a ticking stripe rug, but finding one was proving to be a little like looking for a needle in a haystack, well here in Australia it seemed almost impossible.

A rug can make or break a room and a good choice brings everything together.

Finding a rug that is almost 300cm x 400cm really is no easy feat, and as I am a mum of three very busy little boys being able to find one which is family friendly was going to be an added bonus.

After what seemed like hours upon hours of searching the internet which included a trip down the rabbit hole which is Pinterest, I finally found a rug suitable for our coastal home.

The perfect classic coastal rug!

This beautiful rug is from AU Rugs from the Jill Zarin Collection, the added bonus is it only took a week to arrive.... I'm sure you can relate, but I am that add to cart kinda girl who also wants to receive it as of yesterday (patience isn't my strong suit 🤣)

Although a little shy of the size I was looking for it works perfectly in our living room as I am able to comfortably have all front legs of my lounge chairs on the rug.....

Size matter - Don't choose a rug that is too small for the space. A bigger rug can be the difference between pulling your space together - or not. Go bigger every time; it will be worth any extra expense.

What I love about this Jill Zarin rug is that it's an indoor | outdoor rug that is easily wiped clean of little foot prints or anything else for that matter, the perfect classic coastal family rug.
