Baylie gets a little room update

Baylie is still in his cot and we plan to have two white matching beds in here soon but for the moment we just went with all new surroundings, starting with a board and batten wall treatment and a muted colour palette, whilst bringing colour into the room with our choices of decor and of course the Ikea dresser painted green as our statement piece, with added matte brass hardware.

I think that the obvious answer after doing blue accents though out our home would have been to do something along this line in Baylie’s room but instead I opted for a completely different colour scheme in here…. and I love that we leaned into the look even more with a dresser, painted in a beautiful bold green.

I choose a Jute Rug from pottery barn to tie the room together it not only adds a soft layer underfoot it is durable as well.
